We currently import and distribute the US based "Build Your Own Clone" (BYOC) effects
BYOC effects are well designed clones of classic and vintage guitar effects pedals. They get great reviews, and rightly so. The kits are composed of high-quality components. All you need is a soldering iron and solder to get started. The result will be a professional quality effects unit at a very sensible price.
The benefits of "building your own clone":
- All BYOC effects are "true bypass" i.e. if they are in the signal path but switched off they do not colour the tone (or drain the battery!).
- Many of the kits come with alternate parts in order to customise the final sound.
- You learn about the workings of your effect unit.
- The components of the kits are high quality and standard sizes.
- Due to design with newer components the kits are often less noisy, more reliable (and less expensive!) than the vintage effects they emulate.
